Downtown O.S- it's the hot spot-even if you're two. Because...

there's a real, honest-to-goodness red caboose (where you can get a snowcone) AND a Goofy-Golf worthy dinosaur within a half-block of my studio.

Shad and his folks covered some territory that afternoon, as we worked our way to the beach. Fun day!

And  congrats to Shad's folks for leaving his hair just like it should be!

If you live in Ocean Springs, surely you are familiar with our  resident dinosaur. He often poses for pictures with local children, preferring to snack on area waterfowl. The Audubon Society says they're on this as soon as they're done with BP.
Sorry if we missed the dinosaur, Shad. Next time....

Gorgeous setting, fantastic folks- how lucky am I?!!

These lucky souls live in one of the best-kept-secrets on the coast- it's a charming little neighborhood chock-full of beautifully kept Craftsman bungalows, with a few large and lovely homes for good measure (as opposed to McMansions)... and right on the water. And they're still there (the houses, I mean)!
Naturally, they said they'd have to kill me if I disclosed the location (kidding).
Anyways, enjoy the images!

Virginia & Elizabeth visit from Spanish Fort

What fun we had!
What struck me, besides that they were great pals - was what creative thinkers they were.
We had such far-reaching conversations... it made for a delightful afternoon.
